Mexican Fresca Review (Soda Tasting #167)

The Fresca brand was first introduced in the U.S. in 1966, but Coca-Cola uses the brand differently in Mexico. In the U.S., it is a calorie free drink where in Mexico it is a regular citrus soda, sweetened with sugar.

  1. When my brother and sisters were little ( we were a family of 8 ) my dad would always drink fresca although he didn’t seem to enjoy it given the faces he would make. Years later in life I asked him about it and he told me. He said I didn’t like fresca but it was the only soda you kids would not drink up on me.
And he was right we all hated it.

    • Fun story, Neil! :) Thanks for sharing. :) This was the U.S. Fresca, right?
