Nehi Grape Review (Soda Tasting #158)
Grape was among the original Nehi flavors introduced by the Chero-Cola. The brand became popular and the company renamed itself to the Nehi Corporation. They reformulated Cherro-Cola into Royal Crown Cola and the company changed it’s name again, to Royal Crown Cola. Cadbury Schweppes bought the company in 2000 and sold the international unit to Cott in 2001. The U.S. business remains with Dr Pepper Snapple Group, which was the U.S. beverage unit of Cadbury Schweppes, before it was spun off.
The drink was a favorite of the character Radar O’Reilly from the TV show M*A*S*H.
