Introduced in 1929 as Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda, the formula for 7UP has changed numerous times over the years. For example, in the late 1940s, lithium citrate, a mood-stabilizing drug, was removed. They adjusted some ingredients in the mid-2000s so that they could call it “100% natural,” which ended up being “100% natural flavors,” following criticism due to their use of high fructose corn syrup. Pepsi X is a limited edition release from Pepsi, released on October 8. It is a tie in with “The X Factor” TV show. The dragonfruit flavored cola was selected over 3 other choices based on responses from contestants and fans of the show during auditions at 20 locations in 15 cities. Have you had any Pepsi X? Mountain Dew Voltage offers the “exhilarating taste of Dew, charged with ginseng and raspberry citrus flavor.” When I reviewed Mountain Dew Dark Berry in episode #2, YouTube member brookbabeisaguy115 commented that it was drawing comparisons to Voltage.
