New Britain, Connecticut-based Avery’s Beverages allows guests to make their own soda. The Totally Gross Soda line is inspired by the names that kids would give the sodas that they created. Ohio schoolteacher Frank Stewart opened his Stewart’s Root Beer stand in 1924.
