Rocket Fizz’s The Wizard of Oz Cherry Cola features artwork that was used for covers of vinyl records from Little Golden Records, which specialized in children’s music. Their releases were distributed by Simon and Schuster, who also published the Little Golden Books series of children’s books at the time. Intrastate Distributors produces the line of Frostie products, including Root Beer, which I reviewed on episode #118. This is Vanilla Root Beer. I am reviewing the current formula, which is sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and sugar. But this is in the process of being phased out as they switch to just cane sugar.
