  1. I have tried all these root beers but not Harris teeter. I wish you would have tried Saranac root beer it’s so good. as far as my favorite root beer my number one is Saranac. Number two Bargs because it has that bite that I like.
Great show today as always !

    • Thanks Neil, I’m glad that you enjoyed it. :) I’m definitely looking forward to trying out Saranac, I have it on my list from when you suggested it. :) You are the second person to mention Barq’s. I’ll get to that one, as well. :)

  2. My friends and I were talking about your show today and we came up with an idea for a blind tasting (which is our favourite type of episode other than soda mixing because we mix soda all the time and have a few perfect combinations) coca cola company v pepsi.co. Some of our ideas were (obviously) Coke v Pepsi, Barqs v mugs, Sprite v 7-up and Crush v Fanta. I personally prefer coke products, I find that Pepsi sodas tend to have very little carbonation were as coke has lots of carbonation which is an interesting contrast. We’ll be trying it soon

    • Hey Kane Prud’Homme, thanks for sharing that. :) That’s cool that you and your friends were discussing the show. Glad you enjoy the blind tastings and Soda Mixing. What are some of your perfect combinations?

That sounds like a fun idea. I’ll give that one some thought. I’ve kind of done it without doing it, as I’ve done blind tastings with other brands, too. Coke and Sprite have won thus far! :) Will have to see on the rest. Thanks for your support.

      • Some of our favourites are 1/3 root beer 1/3 coke and 1/3 Canada dry cranberry ginger ale with a couple drops of vanilla and a celery salt rim. The second would be almost half sprite almost half club soda and a not quite a 3rd of fresca with several drops of lemon juice and again, a celery salt rim. It actually goes surprisingly well with soda.

        • Thanks for the reply and for sharing. That’s pretty interesting. You guys sound pretty hardcore. Haha. How do you mix them?

  3. Have you tried the Jensens flavor? It’s one of the cane sugar ones, and it has been the smoothest so far I’ve tried

    • Thanks for the comment and question, W. Chace. Not yet I haven’t! But I have added it to my list. :)
